Let the Ford Avenue Piquette Plant provide your event with a timeless backdrop—an urban industrial setting steeped in the past where guests can walk the same floors a young Henry Ford walked, sit in the driver’s seat of a Model T, and mingle where an invention that would forever change the world was born. It’s a setting that is signature Detroit and can be found nowhere else. The Piquette Plant can provide for weddings, non-profit events, social and corporate parties, bar mitzvahs and location shoots.

Gm Heritage Center

One of the true purposes of the General Motors Heritage Center is to share the history and accomplishments of General Motors and to inspire ideas for the future. For this reason, the facility has been specifically designed as a special event venue, to accommodate business meetings, training sessions, and corporate events–large or small–formal or informal. Employee recognition events, non-profit fundraising events, even corporate holiday parties are just some of the functions that are hosted at the GM Heritage Center. Not open to the public, the GM Heritage Center is available to GM internal sources and external organizations seeking a unique, exclusive venue displaying nearly 200 priceless vehicles and artifacts that was also designed to create the ideal setting for a variety of events.

Eastern Market

Whether you are having a corporate party, wedding, family reunion, business meeting, media event, or numerous other occasions, Eastern Market’s historic setting is the perfect venue for any type of event! They have multiple indoor and outdoor spaces available, totaling over 125,000 square feet. Shed 2 is the oldest shed, built in 1891. In 2008, construction was completed to update the shed to include modern amenities without sacrificing its original integrity. Shed 3 is the most flexible choice. It was constructed in 1922 and extensively renovated in 2009. It has four wings, and during some public market hours, there may be a wing available. Shed 5 was built in 1981. It’s enclosed, and includes a plaza along Russell Street, plus a community kitchen, after the completion of an $8.5 million project in 2015 to restore and enhance the shed. Shed 5 is heated, has restrooms, and additional rooms.
